Co-Founding partner Alex Acain Jr. is an experienced legal practitioner with more than 23 years of experience in both local and international law practice. He practiced aviation law in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa from 2014 to 2018 and served as General Counsel for Kuwait National Airways (Wataniya Airways) – a national airline in the State of Kuwait. He has represented Wataniya Airways in the negotiations with AIRBUS and EMBRAER in the multi-billion dollar Aircraft Purchase Agreements, as announced in the Dubai Airshow 2017 and Farnborough Airshow UK in 2018.
Alex also focuses on civil and family law, intellectual property, criminal law and cybercrime, and immigration litigation. He represents foreigners who have pending cases in immigration and the Courts. He also specializes in complex corporate and transactional legal services and is experienced in managing complex transactions on Technology, and Intellectual Property. He has more than 23 years of experience in various types of litigation and has handled transactions and controversies involving local and international corporations. He has handled matters in France, UK, Italy, Budapest, Greece, Latvia, Bulgaria, Netherlands, Brazil, Montenegro, Georgia, India, Dubai, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives. Alex has also advised international law firm JonesDay on matters about Philippine Internet Technology and Telecommunications.
He is also a registered Authorized Managing Officer (AMO) by the Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB).
