Aviation Law Practice
Guzman Acain LLP’s aviation practice is led by Alexander Acain Jr., who served as General Counsel of Kuwait National Airways (Wataniya Airways), where he advised directly on multi-billion-dollar fleet acquisitions and long-term operating leases. This is not advisory from the outside — it is experience built inside an airline.
We advise airlines, lessors, lessees, ground handlers, and individual clients on both sides of the table: foreign carriers and financiers doing business involving the Philippines, and Philippine-based operators, vendors, and individuals navigating aviation regulatory and contractual matters domestically — including compliance before the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP).
What We Can Do For You
- Aircraft purchase and lease agreement negotiation, drafting, and review
- Sale-and-leaseback and PDP financing structures
- Wet lease and ACMI agreements
- Ground handling and general sales agency agreements

- Philippine regulatory compliance before CAAP for foreign carriers, lessors, and domestic operators
