Alex Llanes Acain Jr. joins the independent judging panel for one of the Philippines’ leading legal industry awards
Guzman Acain LLP Co-Founding Partner Alex Llanes Acain Jr. was selected by Thomson Reuters’ Asian Legal Business (ALB) to serve on the independent judging panel for the 3rd Annual ALB Philippine Law Awards, held October 26, 2018, at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel in Manila.
The ALB Philippine Law Awards is an annual industry recognition program that honors private practitioners and in-house legal teams for standout contributions to the Philippine legal profession over the preceding year, spanning categories from dealmaking and litigation to specialized practice areas.
Acain shared his reflections on the judging process on LinkedIn: “It is an honor to join the distinguished panel of judges for this year’s ALB Philippine Law Awards. I have already submitted my choices and admittedly, the task of selecting this year’s winners was arduous. All the best to this year’s finalists.”
Being asked to judge a peer-reviewed industry awards program reflects the standing Guzman Acain LLP has built within the Philippine legal community since its founding. Learn more about the firm on Our Firm, or explore our Practice Areas.
